One of the main reasons why I continue to buy and keep BMW's, is the level of professional and technical knowledge, and superb customer service that I continue to receive from Ryan, Mike, Angus and the guys at Nixon. I bought my first BMW, a 2002 540i M Sport in 2013 and have been taking it to Nixon from day one. I like to meticulously care for my cars and Nixon has always expertly fixed everything correctly the first time. They have always given me sound advice on maintaining my car and never tried to sell me on any services. On the contrary, they consistently advise me to "leave things alone" when other shops would jump at the opportunity. I have recently bought a 2010 X5 for my wife, and can rest assured that Nixon will take good care of both of my vehicles. I cannot say enough good things about these guys! Recommend 150%. Took in my 6series for service. Service is very good. Staff friendly.

Took my BMW for water pump failure issue. the service was good and the staff are polite. However, the labor and prices are as expansive as BMW dealership itself. I would say for easy jobs like Battery replacement and ect, take your vehicle to a regular mechanics if you are concern about cost. unfortunately, Nixon has no curtsy car while your car is in service and I had to pay for car rental. Overall, I had a better experience than BMW store and recommend this shop if you care about your BMW.

Based on my past experiences with numerous BMW indy repair shop, Nixon was the BEST place for any type of repairs. Every penny I spent for repair was definately worth it. Especially thanks to Ryan who was very friendly and he was open to listen any concerns about the car.

It is so refreshing to find a shop that has both deep technical knowledge and excellent customer service. If you are an enthusiast or weekend wrench bender, you will like working with Ryan and his team at Nixon Automotive. I had a partially melted engine harness on an '09 E90 335d /w M57 (caused by exhaust gases leaking from back-pressure sensor hose on my DPF) that sidelined the car. After some initial diagnosis with an inspection camera at home, I made the decision to bring photos of the "project" over to Nixon for their review and opinion. This was a job best left to someone with a hoist, not a driveway job. After 5 mins of chatting with Ryan (co-owner), it was obvious he knew his way around these engines and had seen a few similar situations before. We shook hands on the project and the next morning I had a quote in hand outlining in detail, the work we discussed the day prior. As parts needed to come in from Germany, we set a start date a few weeks down the road. Meanwhile, in advance of work commencing I compared notes with Ryan via email. We added a few extra items to the work order since the intake needed to removed anyways. Carbon buildup was to be addressed via walnut blasting and ultrasonic cleaning of intake manifold. Exhaust work, transmission service and fluid changes followed. I towed the car to the shop on a Sunday night and they got started first thing Monday morning. Throughout the process I was kept informed regularly via email with pictures of progress and overall status. As a person with lots on the go, I really appreciated this method of communication - it is efficient, convenient and confidence inspiring. You will NEVER get this level of interaction from a dealership. Despite living 130km round-trip from Ryan's shop, for all the reasons mentioned above, I'll be back in the future.

I inquired about a full emissions delete + JR 2.5 Tune on my '13 X5 Diesel. I finally decided to go ahead with Nixon, mostly because of Ryan's professionalism and knowledge of the subject. During the process he called me with additional things his mechanics noticed during the delete process and offered to fix a few minor items at my approval. It was very much appreciated. Thank you Nixon. My X5d is now an absolute beast and more reliable than before! I would definitely recommend them to any BMW owners looking for careful, professional, educated service.
