If your Replacement Parts are purchased from and installed by Nixon Automotive, your Replacement Parts warranty covers the PARTS & LABOUR**
Coverage Terms
If you purchase Replacement Parts from Nixon Automotive and have them installed by Nixon Automotive, your coverage is:
3-Year Unlimited mileage
If you purchase Replacement Parts and have them installed elsewhere, your coverage is:
1-Year Unlimited mileage
**Effective from October 1, 2017. Replacement Parts means stock BMW or OEM replacement.
What is not covered:
While we stand behind the quality of the parts and services we provide, there are certain conditions and situations that are not covered under our warranty. These exclusions include:
Wear and Tear: Parts that are subject to normal wear, discoloration, fading, deterioration, or deformation. This includes items such as brake rotors, friction materials, drive belts, light bulbs, wiper blades, and fuses.
Installation Issues: Damage caused by installation of replacement parts that are not equivalent to the original vehicle manufacturer’s specifications, or damage resulting from using other manufacturer's parts or products in conjunction with BMW/Mini’s systems.
Maintenance Services: Regular maintenance items like spark plugs, lubricants, fluids, engine tune-up parts, filters, coolant, refrigerant, and mechanical adjustments that result from normal wear and tear.
Corrosion or Contamination: Damage resulting from corrosion due to improper or contaminated coolant, or from the use of improper fuel.
Environmental and External Factors: Damage from accidents, environmental influences (flood, fire, road salt), collisions, or improper collision damage repairs.
Competitive or Aggressive Use: Any vehicle used in competitive events, track conditions, or subjected to custom-designed competition parts is not covered under the warranty.
Additional Costs: Return shipping charges, towing, rental car fees, and damages resulting from lost time, inconvenience, or loss of vehicle use are also not covered.
Aftermarket and Performance Parts: These parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, not Nixon Automotive’s warranty.
Used and Refurbished Parts
Used/Refurbished Parts Warranty: Parts purchased as used or refurbished are covered by a 90-day parts-only warranty. Labour costs are not covered under this warranty. Please ask your service advisor for further details.
Important Notes
Aftermarket or Performance Parts: These parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty only. Labour associated with the installation of these parts is not covered.
6-Month Wear: Items such as bulbs, filters, wiper blades, and fuses that need replacement after 6 months are considered wear-and-tear items and are not covered by warranty.
Proper Maintenance: Regular maintenance as outlined in your vehicle’s owner’s manual is required to maintain the validity of your warranty. Failure to perform routine maintenance may void your warranty.
How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact Nixon Automotive as soon as possible to discuss the issue. Warranty claims are subject to review and approval. You will need to provide:
Proof of purchase (invoice or service order)
Details of the issue
Any supporting documentation requested by our service team
If the issue is covered under warranty, we will arrange for a resolution, which may include a repair, replacement part, or other solutions as applicable. The warranty must be performed at our workshop.
Transferability: This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the vehicle and is non-transferable.

Replacement Battery Warranty
When it comes time to replace the battery in your BMW or Mini, Nixon Automotive offers a complete line of top quality maintenance-free replacement batteries for BMW & Mini vehicles.
Parts & labour for all BMW & Mini Replacement Batteries installed by Nixon Automotive are warranted for 24 months. An additional pro-rata warranty covers a portion of the replacement cost beyond the 24 month period, for a total of 60 months.
Coverage Period - Warranty Reimbursement
1-24 MONTHS - 100% PARTS & LABOUR
24-60 MONTHS - PRO-RATA ON PARTS ONLY
Batteries purchased over the counter are warranted for 12 MONTHS on PARTS only.
What is not covered:
Batteries that have been opened, dropped, contaminated, cracked, frozen or otherwise damaged.
Failures caused by the use of incorrect electrolyte.
Recharging of discharged batteries. Batteries that have been damaged due to overcharging.
Batteries that have failed due to lack of regular vehicle use.
Batteries where the warranty plaque has been altered or destroyed.
