Is Your BMW Fall-Ready?

Is Your BMW Fall-Ready?

Temperatures are dropping, and you know that means it's fall time. But first and foremost, it's essential to start caring for your BMW at the start of the season. You might wonder, "what does my car need for the fall anyway?"

We've created a list below of essential items that you should inspect and check off to prepare your BMW for the fall season. The last place you'd want to be on a brisk fall day is to be stuck on the side of the road.

Car Battery

  • With the changing of seasons, it's a perfect time to stop in to see our team for a diagnostic test to ensure that your battery is healthy and ready to take on the colder weather. Our expert team can also make sure your cables and terminals are adequately tightened and free of corrosion.

Headlights

  • Your headlights might've started to look cloudy or hazy over the years of use. It is prevalent in vehicles that are always parked outside. While the days will only get shorter, we will need to rely heavily on our headlights to see in the evenings and nights. You want your headlights to shine bright so you can see what's ahead of you.

Tires

  • Safe driving always starts with your tires. You should already be checking your tread at home monthly. Doing so can help you stay on top of when you need to replace your tires. While you're at it, you should measure your tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge to ensure they are not under-or over-inflated.

Wipers

  • Before the fall season is in full swing, it's an excellent opportunity to renew those wiper blades and choose the best ones for fall/winter use. It is recommended that you replace your wipers every six months to one year. Additionally, if you want to extend the lifespan of your wipers, we highly suggest you clean them with a paper towel and glass cleaner as a part of your routine.
