I had my 2006 BMW 323i bought into Nixon automotive, due to an engine misfiring. They were extremely knowledgeable and honest about the dialogs-tic. Evidently, they've suggested only what needed to be fix, which they have saved me a lot of money and I was gratefully appreciated. Later, they heard about my frustration with the never-go-away light-warning symbol on my dashboard, which I had spend so much money on trying to get rip of it. Easily, they just did a quick reprogramming and the warning light disappeared. And they didn't even charge me for it. Talk about great after service! I highly recommend Nixon automotive to all your BMW's service needs.

Hi Paul, Thank you for the great review. We do our best to help out as much as possible and am really glad we could resolve that bulb message for you. Sometimes its all about the small stuff :) ~Ryan

**Disrespectful & overpriced** I had a problem in my BMW 320i which was diagnosed by another workshop in less than a minute (the crunch valve) which will cost me $1,200 includes fixing the oil leak. However, I thought of taking a second opinion and also fixing my car in a specialized workshop so I called Nixon Automotive. They gave me an appointment after 10 days, so I parked my car and waited. 13/8/2020 I took my car to Nixon and I told them that I’ve been told the problem is the crunch valve, but I’m not 100% sure (obviously the first thing they should check is the crunch valve). The guy told me the diagnose only will cost me $150 and I said Ok. They called me in the noon time and informed me that they checked it and it is the crunch valve and it will cost me total of $2,400 (includes $262 for oil service/flush)!! So double the price! So I said Ok I’m not fixing the car here because it is double the price and I will come to pick up my car and pay the diagnose fees (which we agreed on $150) but the guy knew that I’m not fixing the car so he said the diagnose cost is $250 because it took longer time (even though they told me they will call me noon time if it didn’t take longer time but they called me 11:35 am! ). I was polite and they thought I’m dump. I went there and we had very long argument because we agreed on $150 and now they increased the price to $250! The guy said let me talk to my manager and give me 10-15 minutes! ( the manager was hearing all the argument because his office is just next to the front desk and his door was open tho). I waited outside and the guy intentionally kept me waiting for more than 20 minutes even though he already got the answer from the manager in one minute! He didn’t even bother himself to call me, I had to come and ask him. He was very disrespectful and eventually our argument escalated. I told the guy I owe you $150 and a bad review and you owe me my car key, but he won’t give me my car key so I told him you don’t have the right to hold my keys and I will call the police. The manager didn’t bother himself to step in till I said “police” and he asked me to tell him the story even though he already heard the whole story but just pretending that he does not know. Eventually, I paid $150 and the manager asked me how to avoid the bad review but I said sorry I only share my real experience! It was a horrible experience and they were very disrespectful and the price is not reasonable at all! With this price I could fix my car in BMW! their oil service and hot oil flush service costs $262 as per the quote I got from them, however I did oil service and oil filter in BMW for $152!

They exceed my expectations every time. They are incredibly efficient, excellent diagnosticians, and their fees are extremely reasonable (their rear brake package for my X1 was $200 cheaper than what Kal Tire quoted me!).

Hi Mat, Thanks for the great review and trusting us with your BMW. ~Ryan

Nixon do have proper professionals without any doubt. Their diagnostics always pin point the correct issue. Repairs also done professionally. I am really happy to have such team of professionals for my BMWs.

Great and friendly service. Quality work you can rely on. My only critique is that they don't really seem to care or be compassionate about world economic downturn effects on people. Pandemics are trying times for EVERYONE, including Nixon but there's a certain level of compassion (or Corporate Social Responsibility) and flexibility that all businesses need to show and provide sufficient accomodation for. My recent service was expensive and I asked if they can reduce or provide any discounts on anything. Which really fell on deaf ears and I was left with a hefty bill while being unemployed. I get that they too have employees to maintain, but everyone has taken a paycut or has seen reduced pay. I can't see how they justify charging full price in these trying times and not show good faith for long-term retention of loyal customers. Don't take me wrong, I really like the work they do but they don't seem to have an ounce of flexibility due to their "packaged services", which they can't seem to modify even under extraordinary/once in a lifetime circumstances. I am going to take every measure to postpone going there until life normalizes.

The team over at Nixon are a delight to work with. Thank you to Ryan and his crew for taking great care of me and my BMW e93. Any time my car is booked in for pre-inspection or any repairs, as always I've found their work to be timely, very well done and all at a reasonable cost. They are my go to auto shop in Vancouver, BC from now on and would certainly recommend them to anyone that needs help with their BMW. Joe / Coquitlam

Ryan and Mike kept my weary E30 on the road, reliably, for eight years. As families grow and change, so do the cars we drive. Ten years later, I returned to Nixon Automotive with my new-to-me Mini. The dealership had done a reasonable job ensuring it was road-worthy. However, I never felt truly satisfied with the depth of service and knowledge. I was treated well enough, but I was looking to have my car run as optimal as possible. I wanted more inquisitive minds working with my car. I should have brought my Mini to Nixon the moment I bought it! First of all, they remembered me! Good sign. I described the symptoms I was experiencing and the steps I had taken to that point and then left the car with them. A few hours later I received an update: It was clear that they understood my concerns. Ryan articulated the problem and solution, responded to my questions and quoted me a price. There were, unsurprisingly, a few complications along the way but even after describing the work to resolve them, they stuck to their quote. The car is now running exactly as I would have expected! Having this level of service and support will ensure my confidence in the car and could very well keep me in the BMW family for years to come. Well done Nixon Automotive! If only their was a sixth star to rate you with.

Ryan and his team are very professional, accommodating and know how to get the job done right the first time! Always got friendly prompt service and even been able to squeeze in appointments based off my own schedule. Been coming here for the past ~7 years, with two different BMW’s and will continue coming back here in the future!
