I had the engine warning light came up on my BMW X5 2016. And they took the car for 4days to check up what’s going on and the end up charging me for investigation $1700 and the came up with solution to re-build the engine for $17K. But, they couldn’t figure out what the real problem and why the engine light is there. Anyway, I took the car to another BMW expert and he fix the engine light by changing the injectors, engine coolant thermostat and engine water pump. At the end, I’m happy I didn’t go with their misdiagnosed solution and I saved 15K. The shop doesn’t have any good experts for BMW.
Hello Yousra, Thank you for your review. We value your opinion and are sorry you were not satisfied with your diagnosis. Unfortunately the damage we found to your camshaft bearings is undeniable as the photos prove. I'm glad you found a short term solution, but a rebuild or replacement of the cylinder head is inevitable for a proper repair. Wishing you all the best in the future. ~Ryan
